TR Bulb is a clever solution for modern city living, inspired by the way people are increasingly becoming urban nomads, moving between cities and countries to pursue careers and life experiences. The first collaboration between MENU and Tim Rundle, TR Bulb is designed to be taken from apartment to apartment – installed by simply screwing it into the pendant sockets hanging in ceiling, no electrical expertise required. The power of the TR Bulb is in its flexibility; it looks stylish in a variety of settings and formations, taken from space to space as people move homes or offices. So, it only made sense to widen that range, adding even more possibilities with the new shiny opal iteration. The TR Bulb fits perfectly into both MENU’s and Tim Rundle’s aesthetic universe; Tim describes his work as “seeking to improve the manufactured environment through elegant, technically refined solutions”.

MENU is a Danish design brand with a simple yet significant purpose: to enrich modern living through designs that connect individuals creatively, comfortably and functionally. Since 1978, they have harnessed the skills of top designers and craftspeople around the world to create contemporary furniture, lighting and accessories that are clean, clever and natural, infusing a sense of calm through high-quality materials in minimalist silhouettes. By connecting the dots between home, work and hospitality, they designs redefine how we use space and, ultimately, how we connect to those around us. They like to call it Connected Spaces.
