ATOM is a single unifying family of products comprised of seating, tables and desks. Developed to bring harmony to the workplace.
Working across the spectrum of table requirements from small café to long refectory, individual desks to meeting tables and workbenches to boardroom tables, the ATOM table system is logical and elegant in its simplicity and designed to work seamlessly with all elements of the upholstered ATOM range.
Beautifully detailed to intuitively combine with numerous materials, ATOM’s table and upholstered elements can be tailored to work in any environment via the specification of different fabric, top and finish options.

Designer
Simon Pengelly
A world-renowned designer, Simon is recognised as one of the most important contributors to the British Furniture industry over the last 25 years. His understanding of how people use and relate to the objects around them, paired with his material and process driven approach inspire his work. Simon collaborated with Boss Design to create ATOM – a revolutionary furniture collection that is comprised of seating, tables, desking and screens capable of furnishing an entire workplace. Commenting on his inspiration behind ATOM, Simon says: “ATOM is still the only all-encompassing furniture collection that brings the landscape of the workplace together with one unifying family of products. The design of ATOM is very much focussed on people, inviting them to work in the ways that suit them best.”
Boss Design
Their srotry began in 1983 when Chairman and Founder, Brian Murray, had a vision for a commercial furniture company that would set itself apart from all others. Brian’s mission was to redefine how commercial space works, introducing a range of high-quality products and solutions that would bear all the hallmarks of British engineering, craftsmanship and cutting-edge design. Today, over thirty years later, Boss Design is revered the world over for its pioneering developments and staunch ethical standards.
