The quest for the perfect chair has possessed successive generations of designers. MENU’s first ever chair is the work of Afteroom, a studio in Stockholm founded by talented young Taiwanese duo Hung-Ming Chen and Chen-Yen Wei. The beautifully simple Afteroom three-legged chair is an homage to Bauhaus says Hung-Ming: “We embraced the challenge of minimalism and clean lines without in any way compromising comfort.”

MENU is a Danish design brand with a simple yet significant purpose: to enrich modern living through designs that connect individuals creatively, comfortably and functionally. Since 1978, they have harnessed the skills of top designers and craftspeople around the world to create contemporary furniture, lighting and accessories that are clean, clever and natural, infusing a sense of calm through high-quality materials in minimalist silhouettes. By connecting the dots between home, work and hospitality, they designs redefine how we use space and, ultimately, how we connect to those around us. They like to call it Connected Spaces.
