Old Mutual HQ

Old Mutual has been a long-standing client for all associated with the Inova family for almost three decades. Starting in the late 1980’s, Terry Weldon’s legendary company Innovation Furniture Contracts was a preferred supplier to Old Mutual at their Head Office in Pinelands, Cape Town.

Steve Futter, still with Dashing Office Furniture in those days, was also a preferred service provider to OM CT for workstation and seating solutions. When Steve later joined the Weldon family at Innovation in 1997 he continued to service Old Mutual as a client.

In 2001 Sean Weldon and Steve Futter founded the company ID Solutions and continued to supply Old Mutual with high end imported contract furniture solutions. In 2011 Steve joined forces with Brent Weldon, owner of well-established Inova Furniture Contracts in London, and together they established Inova Contracts in South Africa.

It was therefore a “full circle” experience when Inova Contracts was appointed by Old Mutual to supply a substantial amount of the furniture and lighting solutions specified by DSGN Design throughout the new Mutual Place head office building at 1 Stella Rd, Sandton.

We proudly partnered DSGN on this project by supplying optimum furniture solutions from world-renowned manufacturing brands such Arper, Pedrali, Hay, Muuto and Artemide, as well as some innovative locally-produced furniture ranges developed by Inova SA.
