Jakob Thau

At Jakob Thau studio the ambition is to create products that raises the professional, creative and production-related standards. The driving force is a love of good craftsmanship and a desire to explore both new and familiar materials, while combining this with new industrial possibilities. In this way, Jakob Thau create products that are visionary and unusual – but also traditional.

In 2006 he established Jakob Thau studio, while he was studying at Danish Design school and has among other things designed furniture for the Swedish furniture manufactures Källemo A/B and Eurobib A/B. He is a master from the Danish Design school 2008 and has a background as cabinetmaker. He has his own studio and prototype workshop in the centre of Copenhagen.
