The relationship between new technologies and aesthetic research processes characterises work by Claudio Bellini. Born in 1963 in Milan, where he still lives and works today, Claudio Bellini studied architecture and industrial design at the Politecnico di Milano, where he gained his doctorate in 1990 with new plans for the Milan trade fair site.
After working with his father Mario Bellini on numerous architectural projects, he founded his own studio in 2006. Many Bellini creations have won international awards, including the Liz chair for Walter Knoll, which received the renowned Red Dot Design Award in 2013 amongst others.
As a lecturer in industrial design, Claudio Bellini teaches at the University in Genoa and is a regular speaker at conferences and universities worldwide.
