A virtuoso of styles, Anki Gneib moves among traditional Scandinavian design, Afro inspirations, videogame and Nordic folklore characters. She goes from classical materials such as wood to modern ones like Plexiglas. Born in Londonin 1965 Gneib studied at the Stockholm University College of Art Crafts and Design, interior architecture and furniture design department.
Since 1993 she has worked as an independent architect and designer in her own Stockholm studio.
The studio works on a wide range of projects, such as total interior design solutions for residential homes and public spaces as well as furniture, lighting and product design.
She typically runs projects from an early stage to the final result with a big amount of creative thinking and focus on facility branding. She is represented at The Röhsska Museum of Fashion, Design and Decorative Arts in Gothenburg and has received a number of awards.
