Alessandro Masturzo

Born in 1980. Having graduated in industrial design, he currently collaborates with design studios and with furniture manufacturing firms, communication and graphic concerns. In 2008 he inaugurated his own studio and exhibited his first collections of lamps and designer items at the 2009 and 2010 editions of Milan’s “Salone del Mobile”. At the same time becoming assistant lecturer at the CLAdis design university of Treviso. As early as 2005, he had started participating and gaining awards in international competitions, winning prizes in the Cristalplant Design Contest and the Infiniti Design Decontest among others. His creations were put on display at a number of exhibitions and published in authoritative national and international magazines. At present he is collaborating with various notable design companies, and in 2013 becomes lecturer in the course “Production Technologies and Systems” at Faculty of Design and Art of the Free University of Bozen.
